Urtada spent his formative years in the United States before returning to Iraq to reconnect with his roots and be closer to family. With over a decade of leadership as the director of WAD Iraq, alongside managing a U.S.-based business, he has dedicated himself to serving visitors of the holy shrines. His deepening passion for hospitality led him to explore development more closely, gaining hands-on experience in construction and general contracting through numerous residential and commercial projects across Iraq.
